Inviting documentary film makers for a movie on Cervical Cancer.
Nationally speaking, this has accounted for 24% of cancer cases amongst women, overtaking breast cancer which is at 20%.
With early detection, awareness and reluctance to seek medical help on cervical cancer becoming critical issues, it is clear that women living in rural India are at high risk.
In an effort to do its bit for the issue, Maraa seeks a documentary filmmaker, who can do justice to the cervical cancer situation in India today. This film is primarily for a South Indian audience, and is expected to raise awareness about the issue, as well as give women the courage to seek help and finally motivate women to seek help
